Flower Art 2D/3D
This project comes with a preassembled reclaimed pallet wood backer and frame (approx. 12"x17") with a small shelf to “plant” the flowers on and 20+ 2D flower/butterfly cut outs. Paint or stain any way you'd like and glue it together in any arrangement you prefer. Flowers can be cut/ trimmed to preferred height and "planted" in different positions to make this your own creation. This kit will also be offered in prefinished options. You can choose either multispecies* or painted. We did a test run (shown) to get an idea of how it would look and then refined it a little to customers requests. Images that show finished product are for inspiration only. If “painted” option is picked designs/colors may vary. Multispecies usually consist of Basswood, red oak and walnut. Pallet wood is a strange animal. It is inconsistent, rough, dirty and is very hard to work with. However, its what also makes it unique. I take some liberties in what I sand, clean, cut or assemble to make the best project out of this type of material. In the case of reclaimed pallet wood, the flaws actually can accentuate the project.
